Through this tour, which coasts the sea and
Viale Colombo where it is possible to see the Basilica of Bonaria,
we reach the old fishermens suburb of SantElia. Here
it is located the ancient Lazaretto that, around the middle of the
XVII centuries, it was used to commit people and goods coming from
the outside countries strucked by leprosy, cholera, smallpox and
typhus. The Lazaretto lies in a very suggestive scenery and has
been recently restored to host temporary and permanent exhibitions.
The Little Train will stop in front of the building to alow passenger
to visit the exhibition construction or for a walk promenade.
